My 6th solo painting exhibition is coming soon. Currently my heart is sometimes feeling ups and downs concerning the possible outcome of artwork sales, because the recent economy crisis seems to make people more hesitant to spend money on paintings... Personally, I think sometimes people are not buying art, not because they do not have enough money; they may not know what will happen in future, so they rather decide not to spend…
Actually, my main concern is: since my paintings take up a lot of space, I can only continue to produce more artworks when the current paintings are cleared out from my room to make space for new ones… Of course, selling artworks is also the livelihood of an artist.
So, what can I do? I suppose the only thing I can do, is to just simply trust that God will continue to bless me, no matter how bad the situation or where I am, because I have the favor of God!
