Few weeks ago, I went to my old house at Toa Payoh, and to visit the old market behind too. I went up to the second floor and saw the same fish-shop which I had always visited when I was a kid. Nothing changes much - the owner is still the same owner, except the location is no longer at the corner. I tried talking to the owner, and I began to realise that he has been running this fish-shop since 1960s. Wow! I am surprised that running a fish-shop can also become one's "iron rice bowl", if one handles well...
